On August 27 Enbridge said KKR, with Apollo, will put about C$2.7 billion into a joint venture that funds the Aspen Point and Sunrise expansions on Westcoast. Enbridge gets about C$0.7 billion cash at close. The investors take an indirect 29 percent of the system when Sunrise is in service. Close still has conditions. 2026 guidance did not move.

On August 26 Enbridge agreed to buy Salt Creek Midstream's crude gathering, 100 percent of Orla and Wink North and 50 percent of Delaware Crossing, for US$600 million cash. Combined capacity is 420,000 barrels a day. Close is later in 2026, subject to FTC Hart-Scott-Rodino clearance. 2026 guidance did not move.
