The weekend passed. The incident page did not move

Enbridge Inc. (TSX: ENB, NYSE: ENB) has not posted a September 13 or September 14 Line 5 update. The latest company note is still September 12 at 4:51 p.m. Central Time. Overnight that Saturday, crews successfully pressure-tested the temporary bypass near Saxon, Wisconsin. Enbridge said it was working through the regulated process of finalizing return to service under a plan approved by the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.

The September 11 note had kept a September 12 return-to-service target. That date is now two days behind. The company has not said product is moving. Line 5 has been isolated since August 25, when an unoccupied subcontractor flatbed truck rolled into an excavation at a valve project and struck the pipe. The release was natural gas liquids, mainly propane and butane. No injuries were reported.

Enbridge said September 12 it continues to work with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on permitting and separately on environmental conditions at the incident site. The DNR's September 9 letters asked the company to halt bypass construction. Enbridge's last note does not say it stopped. Testing of surface water and a nearby residential well continues to show no impacts, the company said. The flatbed truck remains on site. A no-fly zone remains in effect per the Iron County Sheriff.

Keyera has estimated a $30 million reduction to 2026 Marketing segment realized margin from the outage. That number stays open until Sarnia volumes actually move.

Neutral read

ENB is on the listed pipeline list. Banks were skipped. A Saturday pressure-test pass, no Sunday or Monday company note, and no flow confirmation are the facts. Write this as an unfinished outage two days past the stated target, not as a restart. Watch the next Enbridge incident note before treating Line 5 as back.
