In a September 6 update Enbridge said crews began work on a temporary bypass around the Wisconsin NGL release site. Line 5 remains shut. Based on bypass construction timing, Enbridge anticipates return to service September 12.
On July 30 AltaGas reported Q2 2026 record LPG exports of 144,420 bbl per day across 23 VLGCs, up 13 percent year over year. REEF is 85 percent complete but marine weather pushed commercial ops past Q1 2027 with capex up 12 percent to about $1.5 billion.
On July 29 Whitecap reported record Q2 2026 funds flow of $1.4 billion, or $1.11 per share, and raised annual production guidance to 384,000 to 386,000 boe per day. Operating costs fell about 13 percent since the Veren deal closed.
On July 31 Cameco reported Q2 2026 net earnings of $25 million. Production was hit by northern Saskatchewan road conditions but the annual outlook is unchanged. Management cited a robust long-term contracting market with escalated floor prices in the high $70s per pound.
On August 7 Emera reported Q2 2026 adjusted EPS of $0.69 and said it completed the New Mexico Gas sale after regulatory approval July 30. The company invested more than $1.7 billion in the first half while targeting a $4 billion 2026 capital plan.
CNQ declared on August 5 a quarterly dividend of $0.625 per share payable October 2 to shareholders of record September 11. Q2 production averaged a record 1,677,000 boe per day with $6.9 billion of adjusted funds flow.
