Northland said October 15 all 73 turbines at the 1.0 GW Hai Long offshore wind project in the Taiwan Strait are installed and generating power. Costs remain on budget. Final permitting approvals are still expected in the first half of 2027. That is mechanical completion momentum, not final COD.
Northland Power said October 16 it will release third-quarter 2026 results after the close Thursday, November 12, with an earnings call November 13 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern. The GlobeNewswire note is dated October 16. That is the calendar. It is not commercial operations at Baltic Power and not Hai Long final permitting.
Northland said Wednesday all 76 turbines are in at the 1.1 GW Baltic Power project in Poland with ORLEN. More than one-third are generating. First power was July 2026. Commercial operations are still later in 2026. That is install complete, not COD.
Northland said today its 80 MW / 160 MWh Jurassic battery in Cypress County reached commercial operations. The company called it Alberta's largest storage site, ahead of schedule and under budget, with a 15-year offtake on 100 percent of capacity. That is storage. It is not first power from Jurassic Solar.
On August 12 Northland said Baltic Power, 1.1 gigawatts in Poland, delivered first offshore-wind power to the national grid. 61 of 76 turbines were installed and 15 were generating. Commercial operations are still aimed at the second half of 2026. Second-quarter adjusted EBITDA was $259 million. The quarter printed a $54 million net loss.
