Record day is Monday. The operating print is already filed
Ovintiv Inc. (TSX: OVV, NYSE: OVV) declared on July 23 a quarterly dividend of US$0.30 per share of common stock, payable September 29, 2026, to shareholders of record September 15. That is calendar paper for Monday. It does not reset the August 26 ground-game acreage note.
Second-quarter results the same day showed cash from operating activities of US$1.6 billion and non-GAAP free cash flow of US$682 million after US$574 million of capital. Production averaged 615,000 boe per day, including 206,000 barrels a day of oil and condensate and 1,959 million cubic feet a day of gas. Net debt was US$2.995 billion at June 30.
Ovintiv raised full-year 2026 production guidance to 630,000 to 645,000 boe per day and left capital at US$2.25 billion to US$2.35 billion. The company said it is set to grow oil production per share by about 4 percent with no increase in activity or capital. Anadarko sale proceeds were about US$2.82 billion after preliminary adjustments.
Neutral read
OVV is on the listed producer list. Banks were skipped. A September 15 record date and a thirty-cent quarterly cheque are the facts. Write this as cash-return continuity, not as a WTI call. Watch whether the 630,000 to 645,000 boe per day guide holds through the fourth quarter and whether remaining ground-game closes land before year end.
